Expect to hear from a range of instruments and musicians, including classic guitars, modern synths, and drums.
Violins, double bass, and a grand piano are just a few of the many orchestral instruments that are featured at Christmas in Concert.
More than fifty voices blend together to create a gorgeous four-part harmony in our grand concert choir.
For years, Koinonia put on a Christmas musical as a church and they became very popular in the area. We would write our own script, find our own music, and put everything together. We built that reputation over the years and people loved it.
But the requirements of big productions took a toll on the creative team, and after some time off, we tried a transition to the musical/drama field. This experiment proved to be only mildly successful and wasn't a great fit for our team in the end. An epiphany came in 2009 when in a creative meeting: "Why are we trying to do something that we're not? We are music."
As a church, we have many gifted singers and musicians, and music is very core to our culture, so we decided to do a large-scale Christmas concert.
After the first year and hearing the rave reviews, we had found our niche. Now entering our ninth year, Christmas in Concert has grown and become a well-loved tradition for many.
We are thrilled to invite you to our experience our Christmas gift to the community. May it be a positive kick starter to the season that gets you ready for this beautiful time celebrating with friends and family.
Opening Night gives you three options to purchase a ticket to Christmas in Concert with a confirmed seat ahead of time.
*Business sponsors and VIP ticket holders have access to the pre-show reception held from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. A live, tasteful accompaniment will be played in the main foyer while you and your party enjoy a stand up reception. Enjoy hot and cold appetizers, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages in a classy atmosphere.

Doors open 30 minutes before show time. Show is 70 minutes with no intermission.

Upon arrival, you will receive a free ticket for a specific seat. If you need to save seats for others joining your party, we are able to give two tickets for each person in line. Please note: at least half your party needs to be present in line.
We recommend you arrive with plenty of time to get your tickets and relax in our foyer before the show. Our café will be open with a selection of hot and cold beverages for you to purchase. Thank you for your cooperation!
*Laser lights, haze, and atmospheric effects will be used during our performances. Strobe lighting will not be used.

Behind the scenes, $65 in rebates are generated and sent directly to JAM to feed a child in need every day for an entire year.
